Kawasaki KZ1300

No matter how you look at it, this is one big bike.  6 water-cooled cylinders, 1,286cc, 710 lbs.  Definitely not a shrinking violet.

Horsepower: 120 @ 8,000 rpm

Torque: 85.4 ft/lbs @ 6,500 rpm

1/4 Mile:  11.96 at 114.35 mph

All this, and it still gets 38 miles to the gallon. Even today, these numbers are impressive.  Considering that they come from a bike that's 21 years old, it's even more so.

We found that there was a dearth of information on the web on our bikes, so we're trying to rectify that.  In the hopes that someone will find useful information here, we've scanned several test reviews on them.  These reviews come courtesy of Cycle magazine, and I certainly hope that nobody from that fine publication objects to our using it here.
