Der Frankentruck

Here is The Frankentruck;  It's a 1989 Chevy short-wide, powered by a venerable Chevy 350 small block.   It's TH700R4 is due for a rebuild here soon, but the motor is still going strong at 160K miles.

One of these days, when I have cubic money to spend, it'll probably find itself suddenly with a 250-300 HP Cummins 6BTA5.9 (now known as the ISB5.9) diesel under the hood.  :-)

I keep finding out little things about this beast that make me wonder about just how colored it's past is.
